After spending over fifteen years in the retail automotive space, Kirk Stumpfhauser joined Zurich in 2007 as an account executive, writing insurance for franchised and independent auto Dealers. Kirk brings his experience and knowledge to Universal Group to serve clients and help the business grow.

As a commercial lines producer, he focuses on offering insurance products to customers in the state of Kansas. Kirk’s incredible ability to develop relationships has allowed him to make connections and establish exceptional rapport with customers in the automotive industry. Solid customer relationships and appreciable customer service leading to referrals, has allowed Kirk to succeed in growing his book of business now and into the future.

Kirk is committed to upholding Universal Group’s core values and does so by applying the Golden Rule; treating others as you want to be treated which has always guided Kirk in his professional and personal life. Applying this philosophy along with always being forthright and sincere allows Kirk to follow the core value of honor your word as it pertains to dealing with his clients, coworkers, and prospects.

Kirk attended college at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS and is a licensed insurance agent. He and his wife Jenise have six adult children between the two them; three boys and three girls and have six young grandkids who they thoroughly enjoy spoiling! Being empty-nesters, they welcomed two dachshund dogs, Woodie and Edie who run the household and have come to enjoy traveling as much as Jenise and Kirk do.

Aside from traveling and spending time with family, they enjoy many outdoor activities including swimming, kayaking, golfing, and hiking. Kirk has played soccer most of his life and to this day, enjoys finding a pickup soccer game to join in wherever he travels to, be it domestic or abroad. “It truly is a sport for ALL people!”
