Marilyn Kirchner is a customer insurance advocate and works with businesses to service all of their insurance needs by answering questions, providing education and information. Marilyn is committed to upholding Universal Group’s core values and does so by living by the “golden rule.”

Marilyn has worked in the insurance industry for over 40 years. Her experience as a claims adjuster, personal lines underwriter, and customer insurance advocate has given her the tools and resources she needs to support Universal Group’s customers for over four years. Marilyn has been recognized for her ability to master organizational workflow, which allows her to serve her customers efficiently, making the customers’ experience smooth and stress-free. Marilyn has a CISR designation and is licensed in Nebraska for property and casualty and life and health. Marilyn holds a BA in sociology and business from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Marilyn has three children, three grandchildren, and one “spoiled” puppy named Otis. Marilyn enjoys a variety of activities in her free time, including reading, cooking, gardening, and describes herself as a Creighton Basketball enthusiast while also enjoying the KC Chiefs and, of course, Nebraska football.
